U.S. People Living with HIV Caucus Mourns the Passing of A. Cornelius Baker

The U.S. People Living with HIV joins the global HIV community in expressing our sadness at the passing of A. Cornelius Baker. We convey our deep condolences to Corneilus’s family and friends. In his many roles, including Executive Director of NAPWA (the National Association of People with AIDS), Cornelius demonstrated strong leadership, wisdom, courage, and an unwavering commitment to social justice and equity. Cornelius also showed that kindness and empathetic support are essential qualities that shape how we interact with each other. We appreciate the many ways Cornelius enriched our lives and our community. We commit to learning from Cornelius’s legacy and to working to build a better world.
